As part of the Turkey Culture Route Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, students from the Music Department of the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Architecture at Malatya Turgut Özal University took the stage at the “Music in the Streets” event, adding color to the festival.
The event brought music lovers together with concerts held throughout the day on October 13, 2025, at Art Street and Kernek Square. Between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., members of the String Instruments Group, Eren Hasar, Barkın Sarıgül, and Hulusi Önat, took the stage at Art Street and entertained the audience with pieces selected from the classical repertoire. At the same venue, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Ebubekir Demir, Birol İmrek, Mehmet Ali Yüksel, and Halil Zahter took the stage and added color to the program with various musical pieces.
At Kernek Square, another stop on the festival tour, Ömer Polat, Alihan Fidan, and Cihan Mamuk took the stage between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The young musicians were warmly received by both the local community and festival attendees with their musical diversity.
Festival Excitement from Young Musicians
The event, which attracted a wide audience, both showcased our university's activities in the field of art and provided our students with valuable stage experience. The participation of our Music Department students in the Turkey Culture Route Festival once again demonstrated our university's commitment to art and young talent.
